Heyco Products, Inc., a leading ISO 9001:2000 US based designer and manufacturer of wire protection products and electronic components, has announced availability of their new NPT Threaded Plugs as an addition to their current offering of PG and Metric Threaded Plugs.
Designed with a hex shaped head with slot for easy wrench or screwdriver installation, the new Threaded Plug is a lower cost option over brass or steel NPT plugs, is available in multiple NPT thread sizes from ¼” to 1”, seals threaded openings to protect against contamination and moisture, and provides a liquid tight seal up to 70 psi.
Constructed of electrically nonconductive nylon 6/6, the threaded plug is IP 68 rated and resists oil and heat up to 105°C (221°F). Typical applications include, but are not limited to, household appliances, pneumatic and hydraulic devices, industrial equipment, automotive products, motors, and generators.
