Electric Ovens
Electric furnaces and ovens are widely used in heat treatment, food processing, labs, chemical manufacturing and other such industries for heat treatment and processing. Electric furnaces can use AC or DC current; heating is done by resistance or induction. These furnaces are clean systems as they do not produce waste oil.
Some types of electric furnaces include the following: air circulating furnace, boogie hearth furnace, annealing furnace, brass melting furnace, shaker hearth furnace, box type furnace, continuous annealing furnace, conveyor furnace, tempering furnace, electric aluminum & brass melting furnace, bell furnace and others. Some types of electric ovens include conveyor oven, powder coating oven, hot air oven, overhead conveyor oven, stowing paint oven, box oven, conveyor oven, PVC preheating oven, automatic trolley oven and others.
Electric furnaces and ovens are selected based on parameters such as maximum temperature attained, power requirement, maximum internal pressure that can be sustained and venting and exhaust systems. Other parameters include conveyor types, the form of cooling system, inner and outer dimensions, type of loading, number of heating elements and other related parameters. In heat treatment, electric ovens are used for operations such as carburizing, nitriding, and annealing.
