Rubber Fenders
Rubber bumpers are used in factories, warehouses, assembly lines and loading equipment to dampen small impacts and jerks. They are made of molded styrene butadiene rubber having a long service life and do not crack when immersed in oil or water.
Recessed bumpers, grommet bumpers, stem bumpers and tack bumpers are some of the types of rubber bumpers. Recessed bumpers having a countersunk hole for screw mounting are available in different variations such as flattop, round top and doughnut top. These can be directly mounted on a metal or plastic surface. While fixing the screws, care should be taken to see that the top of the screw head is well below the rubber surface. Grommet bumpers are available with half round and conical top. Stem bumpers having a long stem and push fitted inside the mounting hole are available as flat tops and round top. Tack bumpers having a pin for pushing into soft surfaces are very easy to place and remove and used for noise reduction.
Rubber bumpers are available in different colors such as blue, black, red and yellow. Height of the head, shaft or stem size, overall size, rubber head size are some of the parameters used for selection.
